Philip specialises in whole system change, helping people act in the midst of complexity. With a background in accountancy, humanities, and computing science, he works on all ‘sides’ of the strategy fence, championing approaches that improve systemic structure and reduce unintended consequences.

Philip was the EA Group Lead at Carphone Warehouse and the PhoneHouse. Certified in the governance of enterprise IT (CGEIT). He has been an associate at Enterprise Design Associates since 2012, where he applies his systems thinking expertise.
Now an independent consultant, he works with organizations seeking a ‘sea change’ in their structural performance. His 2017 training course on systems thinking and storytelling was adopted as standard by an EU bank’s architecture group. As a coach and mentor, he accelerates the careers of smart people with deep technical skills.
